I started my business on a mustard seed of faith. I’ve been manifesting my craft for almost 5 years now and my business has grown so much since then. I worked in the corporate world for nearly 14 years and prayed for a breakthrough that would allow me time to be more present at home with my children, while also providing me the freedom of working for myself. That’s how matchmyhands was born!
I created “Lemon Drop Oil” because I was tired of purchasing oils that were overpriced and lacked the long lasting impression I wanted to leave on my clients after their service. I then took it upon myself to do the research to create something of my own that actually smelled good, and had tons of benefits for my clients hair. I love lemongrass and the health and growth properties that came along with it. Alongside the smell and numerous benefits lemongrass carries, I also included several other well thought out ingredients, that will not only aide in healthy hair growth but healthy mental stability as well. With regular use of my Lemon Drop Oil, your scalp will be prime for growing healthy natural hair that will promote and retain you hair, instead of loss to breakage, excessive shedding and other hair damaging issues. Lemon Drop Oil is also known to strengthen your hair follicles which will help fight against hair loss.
Our mission at Matchmyhands Hair Studio, is to help change the narrative of how women and men portray “getting their hair done” or even taking care of their hair. I provide low manipulation, tension free, pain free styling where you can look your absolute best but skipped the pain. My clients leave my chair having had a total experience. From the pain free styling, to the oiling and massaging of their scalp, to the steam treatment I finish up with at the end of your service. I believe in empowering and uplifting my beautiful sisters and brothers by letting them know that by booking with me you are one step away from a life changing experience.
